The Winds of Change Fan the Flames

Author: Andrew Smith

I want to share something I wrote in 2014.  It is short yet profound and then I want to comment on some current events that are unfolding.  There are some that will call me a Monday morning quarterback and that’s ok.  Anyone that follows my outspoken nature through writing knows I have referenced to and shared this short piece of revelation many time since its conception.  It is as follows…

God is about to loose the keys to his Kingdom to the masses.  A cultural paradigm shift.  A tsunami of Gods Holy Spirit will wash over mankind.  As thought patterns change words and language will rearrange and fall in line with his will.  Principalities on earth will shift and those in positions of influence will line up with the Spirit of God and His will and divine work.  I see connections being made.  I see a coalescence of people forming with God’s Will at the center.  Relationships of old and new that compliment, confirm, and amplify their calling.  I see cultural divides being broken down.  Social media is transcending distances that for far too long has separated the like minded.  As thoughts coalesce a Spirit of Truth will emerge on a world scope.  God separated the language in the days of old.  The worlds cultures matured with different fragments of Truth.  As these fragments come together through connections of Faith, Love, and Understanding a Cosmic Truth will emerge.  Those who have eyes see and those that have ears hear.  The Cosmic Dawn is about to crest the horizon.  We are past the three O clock hour.  The morning dew is forming to water the hearts of men.  Prepare your fields for seed.  Sow your seeds in abundance for the time of harvest approaches.  The time to speak is now.  Rise up and resonate the Truth and set people FREE! — 6/28/2014

As I was reading on the wildfires that have been blazing in the southeast United States, one firefighters statement stood out to me.  He said that during the greatest advancements in the wildfires there were wind gust upwards of eighty miles per hour pushing the flames with a fierce appetite.  Although there is great suspicion of arson and even arrests that been made it is the winds that became the greatest attributor to the spread of the fire.  That coupled with the dry conditions of the landscape seemed to be the perfect storm.  This becomes significant to me when the parallel of the unseen is factored in and a wisdom can be derived at.   The Spirit of God is often times compared to the wind.  All across this world it seems there is an awakening happening.  An awakening to the conditions and situation we are in.  As if we are having our Ephraim moment.  It seems that the hearts of people are dry and almost seek out any spark to ignite a fire from within.  And in what seems to be just the right time the winds of change show up and begin to give the oxygen starved embers of the souls of good people smoldering in the lukewarm crucibles of control systems a breath of life.  The backdraft of that oxygen merging with the dying embers has created an explosive movement across this nation and the world over.

Joel (1:15-20,2:1) ESV

15 Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, and as destruction from the Almighty it comes. 16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God? 17 The seed shrivels under the clods; the storehouses are desolate; the granaries are torn down because the grain has dried up. 18 How the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed because there is no pasture for them; even the flocks of sheep suffer. 19 To you, O Lord, I call. For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and flame has burned all the trees of the field. 20 Even the beasts of the field pant for you because the water brooks are dried up, and fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

2)1 Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming

In the physical we suffer the loss of property, cherished heirlooms, and loved ones.  We lament as the raging furnace transforms homes, businesses, and wildlife to cinders.  The smoke rises from the flames as if it carries our very prayers and lamentations to the heavens.  Once the flames have consumed their fill and the embers settle to cinders that land is left desolate and devoid of life and the scene becomes surreal.  But I see a hope, I see nature taking its course.  Within a few springs the land will begin to bud new life in the fertile ashes of the wake.  Wildlife returns and the next generations of forest begin anew.  Such it is in the unseen as pertains to the souls of men.  As the fire rages in the hearts people against the oppressive systems put in place by men of greed that lust for power and control the preverbal landscape is ignited.  The shift of principalities begins the perfect storm and revolt set the stage and begins to spread into the valleys the flames of disgruntled subjects.  Let it be known that revolt is always met with resistance.  Oh, our oppressors will not go silently into the night but will begin to scorch their own systems of control to try to starve the fire with a controlled burn but the winds carry the embers to the very heart of their system and burns with a fierce and consuming wave.  When the flames die down those that survive the fire will look on great devastation and will begin to question if revolt was worth the price.  When all seems lost remember the virgin forests that are teaming with new life in the wake of devastation.  The next generations of man will walk into a green and fruitful pasture that is generous with her fruits.  It is the future of our children freed from corporate tyranny that brings justification to the price paid.  The elders that are tattered from war and wear the scares of the flames seek refuge in the yoke free futures of their progeny.  It will be noted that we woke up in the pigpen and realized the dark prospects that loomed in the air and that we were given a gift of fire on the inside to make a stand.  And not only were we able to stand, but when we stood, God was faithful to use the winds of change to fan the flames.

May the grace of Christ, and the love of Creator, and the fellowship of Holy Spirit be with you all.
