March 2018: Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has announced to the world advances in nuclear weaponry. This was a campaign speech for the president. The election is less than 3 weeks away.

Putin claims the new missiles will not be detected by American technology. Putin showed off the missile capability in a video that appeared to be a nuclear attack on Florida. These are “invincible” cruise missiles. The cruise missile was described as a “low-flying, difficult-to-spot cruise missile, with a practically unlimited range and an unpredictable flight path, which can bypass lines of interception and is invincible in the face of all existing and future systems of both missile defense and air defense” by President Putin.
In a comment directed to the United States and Europe, Putin stated, “They need to take account of a new reality and understand … [this]… is not a bluff.”
Military resources from Russia continue to pour into Syria. Vladimir Shamanov is the head of the Russian Duma’s defense committee. Shamanov is a former commander of Russia’s airborne troops. Shamanov recently made to following statement.
“As we helped the brotherly Syrian people, we tested over 200 new types of weapons. Today our military-industrial complex made our army look in a way we can be proud of.”
