Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in an effort to improve relations with the UN, are heading up a special seminar along with a team of medical professionals, for the purpose of sharing their cutting edge strategies and technology regarding emergency medical response in conflict zones. The UN will be attending as students to be trained in Israeli style emergency medical operations. With Israel being forced to maintain a constant level of preparedness throughout modern history, it has become extremely efficient in the art of emergency medical response. I say “art” because there is no better way to describe what they’ve accomplished.
Israel’s Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon released this statement: We are proud to welcome U.N. peacekeepers to Israel to learn from the world’s leading professionals and to witness firsthand our cutting-edge techniques for treating medical emergencies deep in the field.
Arguably the best Military in terms of strategic accuracy and efficiency, it comes as no surprise to me that the IDF is also the best regarding medical emergency techniques. They have honed their techniques into an art through seemingly endless real time application. As well as the diligence displayed at home, Israel has assisted as first responders in a number of humanitarian efforts around the world, with Haiti, the Philippines and Nepal being recent examples of Israel’s desire and ability to help others in times of need.
I commend Israel for its forthright desire to bless the world with its strengths and talents. After being treated with such hostility and prejudice by the UN over the many years, Israel is certainly under no moral obligation to assist them. So why does she do it? She does it because of the noble and good character that she possesses. She is and always has been a blessing to the world!
On the other hand, the UN has been no friend to Israel, constantly scrutinizing, marginalizing, and generally displaying disrespect to Israeli leaders, they have all but revealed themselves as an enemy to the beautiful peace loving nation.
Considering that Israel exists as a direct result of promises made to the people by God himself, coupled with the fact that the very land they dwell upon was given to them by that same God, it seems appropriate to highlight God’s love for his people with the astounding beauty of His own Words.
Deuteronomy 7: [13] And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kin, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
[14] Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
15: [4] Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it.
28: [7] The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
Psalm 29: [11] The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Jeremiah 31: [23] Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
In closing I’d like to say that God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel. The UN should take note of it.
